PRIVACY POLICY
United Freight Service, LLC
Last Updated: August 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes United Freight Service’s policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use our service, and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
We use your personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
United Freight Service is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users. We want to assure you that we do not share your personal information with third parties. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect the information you provide to us.
SMS / TEXT MESSAGING PROGRAM
United Freight Service operates an SMS text messaging program used to communicate with drivers, customers, carrier partners, and applicants regarding loads, dispatch, scheduling, appointments, account service, recruiting, and related operational updates.
Consent and Opt-In
You are enrolled in our text messaging program only if you affirmatively opt in by checking the SMS consent box on a form at ufservice.com, on our driver application, or on a customer or carrier setup packet, or by texting START to our messaging number (804) 220-9943. The consent box is never pre-checked and is never required in order to submit a form. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of employment, of doing business with us, or of any purchase or service, and applies only to the program you enrolled in. Providing your phone number for a quote, an application, a rate confirmation, or a setup packet does not by itself enroll you in text messaging. Full program terms are in our SMS Terms and Conditions.
No Sharing of Mobile Numbers or Consent Data
Mobile phone numbers and SMS/text messaging consent information are not shared, sold, rented, or otherwise provided to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories described elsewhere in this Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile numbers may be shared only with the licensed messaging service providers we use to deliver messages on our behalf, solely for the purpose of transmitting those messages, and never for their own marketing use.
What We Collect for the Messaging Program
For our text messaging program specifically, we collect your name, mobile phone number, the record of your opt-in consent (including the date, time, and method of consent), and the content and delivery status of messages exchanged with us. This information is used only to deliver the messages you have consented to receive, to respond to your inquiries, to maintain records of consent as required by law and by carrier rules, and to improve the reliability of our messaging.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out
You may cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and you will no longer receive text messages from us. If you would like to rejoin, sign up as you did originally and we will resume sending messages to you.
